Yoga

Yoga is incorporated into all aspects of Freedwoman Retreats from intention, to meditation, to pranayama (breath-work), and asana (postures).

In Sara’s vinyasa yoga practice, you can expect a mix between physical asana practice and spiritual connection. Practices are based off Ashtanga, Vinyasa, heart-opening, and Hatha lineages.

During yin yoga, the poses are held for a longer period of time. Holding the poses for an average of 5 minutes helps to target the release of fascia and deep muscle tissues. In this practice, the body is given a chance to release tension, recover from more active yoga or physical activities, and gives the mind a chance to become still and quiet.

We offer private and group yoga instruction and can collaborate to discuss your yoga goals and design the perfect practice for you!

Weekly classes are held at Spire Climbing Center. See calendar for details.
